My Background
My name is Brooklyn Franklin. Chef Brooklyn came at a young age when she was a little girl. Being raised by a single working mother, learning to be independent, and help around the house was essential. One day she decided to make herself a stuffed baked potato. Depending on what you call burnt, you can call it ash or char, that day, she almost burned the house down but was determined to learn how to cook and tried over and over until she got the hang of it. She found a passion in experimenting and learning her way around the kitchen. At an early age, her mother always motivated and believed in Brooklyn's dream to acquire her culinary aspirations. She helped support her dream and enrolled her in MasterChef Junior in New York City. While attending high school, she enrolled in the Excel TECC program, an innovative career preparatory program. She earned her certificate of achievement from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. After high school graduation, she sought opportunities to develop her creativity further. In 2021 she received her certificate in Family Career Community Leaders of America.
Brooklyn has several clients for personal meal plans, social events, and private parties. She works diligently at her craft to ensure the success of her brand.
